Nadi District School yesterday received a timely boost from Essendon players James El –Moussalli and teammates Mathew Zema and Lloyd Hillard. They presented 40 AFL balls to help promote the game. The trio are on vacation and saw it fitting to give something back to the community. “This was a good opportunity to teach the children about AFL,” EL-Moussalli said. “I came a few years back to give villagers some balls and it was amazing.”

Hillard said they were looking at visiting other schools as well when they do come back to Fiji “We would like to thank the Nadi District School for giving us this opportunity to come here, Sheraton Fiji and especially the children for allowing us to make a small difference,” he said. Headteacher Meli Cabebula was grateful of the assistance. Meanwhile, Nadi District School will be sending 28 athletes to the Nadroga Western Primary Schools Zone meet next week.
