Buadromo firm on challenge
Fijiana XV hooker Pasemaca Buadromo is confident of making a mark against Papua New Guinea this Saturday. The Mavana, Vanuabalavu, Lau native believes her dedication and sacrifice for the past two years has finally paid off. “Hard work and sacrifice has paid off for me. This is the first time for me to join the Fijiana squad and it’s an honour to represent my country.
“I started playing rugby two years ago with the Central Chiefs and it was just my friends that I hang out with introduced me to the sport,” Buadromo said. The former Adi Cakobau School student is the eldest of five siblings.
“As an eldest child in the family I am setting examples and I want to be a good role model for them,” she added. Her mother Cegu Tuwai commended Pasemaca’s effort making it to the final 26 member squad. “I want to thank God for the life of Pasemaca and I will support her all the way in her rugby career.
