The Stand­ing Com­mit­tee on Jus­tice, Law and Hu­man Rights has been es­tab­lished pur­suant to Sec­tion 109 of the Stand­ing Or­ders of the Par­lia­ment of Fiji. The Stand­ing Com­mit­tee con­sist of the fol­low­ing Mem­bers of Par­lia­ment:

1. Honourable Ash­neel Sud­hakar (Chair); 2. Honourable Semesa Kar­avaki (Deputy Chair); 3. Honourable Lorna Eden (Mem­ber); 4. Honourable Matai Akauola Ni­u­matai­walu (Mem­ber); and 5. Honourable Niko Nawaikula (Mem­ber)

Pur­suant to Stand­ing Or­der 110 (1) (a), the Stand­ing Com­mit­tee has been tasked to scru­ti­nize the Bills men­tioned be­low which have been re­ferred to it by Par­lia­ment, and to make nec­es­sary amend­ments to the Bills.

The Par­lia­ment Stand­ing Com­mit­tee on Jus­tice, Law and Hu­man Rights is in the fi­nal phase of scru­tiny of the Bills and in­vites in­ter­ested stake­hold­ers and in­di­vid­u­als to make writ­ten sub­mis­sions on the fol­low­ing Bills:
