Fly­ing Fi­jians pre­pare for tour opener

Burly winger Nemani Nadolo has joined the Voda­fone Fly­ing Fi­jians in their camp in Toulouse, France. The Mont­pel­lier rug­ger said it was great to be back in camp as they went through their meet­ing and had their first train­ing ses­sion to­gether. “Look­ing for­ward to the next few days,” Nadolo later tweeted. Brive winger Ben­ito Masilevu has also joined the squad to re­place in­jured Jo­sua Tuisova who is nur­sing an an­kle in­jury. The John McKee coached-side take on the Bar­bar­ians on their tour opener set for Novem­ber 11 in Belfast, Ire­land. They then take on Eng­land at Twick­en­ham on Novem­ber 19 be­fore they face Ja­pan on Novem­ber 26 at Vannes, France. Mean­while, Eng­land rugby coach Ed­die Jones has turned to Aus­tralian rugby league to brush up his team’s de­fence and he ex­pects it will make a big dif­fer­ence. Jones has added Mel­bourne Storm de­fen­sive coach Jason Ryles to his back­room staff on a tem­po­rary ba­sis ahead of the team’s au­tumn in­ter­na­tion­als against South Africa, Fiji, Ar­gentina and Aus­tralia.
