Four in hospi­tal af­ter road ac­ci­dents

Four peo­ple were rushed to hospi­tal in sep­a­rate road ac­ci­dents in Suva yes­ter­day. The first ac­ci­dent in­volved two taxis and one pri­vate vehicle on Princes Road in Ta­mavua. Two peo­ple were rushed to hospi­tal with se­ri­ous in­juries. Po­lice spokesper­son Ana Naisoro con­firmed that they were yet to re­ceive de­tails about the in­ci­dent. In the sec­ond ac­ci­dent, two men in their 40s were also rushed to hospi­tal af­ter an­other col­li­sion be­tween a rental car and a taxi at McGregor Road, Suva. Ms Naisoro, while con­firm­ing this said, the driver of the rental car al­leged ly lost con­trol of the vehicle.

In­ves­ti­ga­tions on both ac­ci­dents con­tinue.
