Fiji Sun Launches First Roadshow
FIJI Sun launched its first 30-days subscription drive roadshow at Morris Hedstrom (MH) Superfresh in Tamavua, Suva, yesterday. Fiji Sun’s national advertising manager Monisha Prasad said through this initiative FIJI Sun would make information dealing with subscription clearer for the interested people.
“Some people might not find it easy to come to our FIJI Sun office in Walu Bay to subscribe for the paper or some of them do not even know that we have subscription services,” she said. Ms Prasad said the whole idea was to provide services for the customers in a bigger, brighter way. “The customers will know where they can subscribe for the paper and the paper will be delivered to their doorsteps,” she said. “Together with this, we are trying to promote our classified as well.
“We are trying to draw attention to people that Fiji Sun is around the corner.” She also thanked Carpenters Fiji Limited director retail and marketing Kuna Sabaratnam, for allowing the FIJI Sun team to conduct the drive.
“MH is supporting us for our classified drive. It’s making our placement of advertisement easy in all of their outlets. “Each staff of MH outlets around Fiji is given responsibility of the Fiji Sun advertisement,” she said. Fiji Sun marketing co-ordinator, Shiv Maharaj, said this drive was about subscribing to any plan of nine months or more and go into the draw to win your subscription back “Plus with any sign up, you get a branded FIJI Sun tee-shirt or a thermal mug absolutely free. “We would also like to inform everyone about how easily and conveniently one can place classifieds advertisement at any MH outlet Fiji wide,” he said. There are over 22 MH outlets throughout Fiji parttaking in the drive. Mr Maharaj said they also had a texting platform as well where people could text in their classified advertisement on 211. “People can place an advertisement in the FIJI Sun while sitting at your home,” he said.
