Com­merce Com­mis­sion to meet stake­hold­ers in­ter­ested in im­port­ing in­fant for­mula

The Fiji Com­merce Com­mis­sion (FCC) is call­ing on all stake­hold­ers who wish to im­port in­fant for­mula prod­ucts to meet with them and dis­cuss prices. This is fol­low­ing the re­view of im­port re­quire­ments of in­fant for­mula by Biose­cu­rity Au­thor­ity of Fiji (BAF). Im­ported baby milk of all types are price reg­u­lated by FCC un­der the ‘Com­merce (Price Con­trol) (Con­trol of Prices for Food Items) Or­der 2015’. BAF has re­viewed the path­way of the in­fant for­mula.

The Au­thor­ity will al­low all in­fant for­mula which are ac­cepted and ap­proved for re­tail by Food Stan­dards Aus­tralia and New Zealand (FSANZ) in Aus­tralia and New Zealand.
