Lovu Hart Kin­der­garten head teacher, Mere­walesi Lewe, is call­ing on Govern­ment to help build them a proper Kin­der­garten for the stu­dents. When con­tacted yes­ter­day, the Min­is­ter for Ed­u­ca­tion, Ma­hen­dra Reddy, said the kin­der­garten needed to write to him and then he would de­cide on what to do. Ms Lewe, who has been a head teacher at the kin­der­garten for al­most a year now said the stu­dents have been with­out a proper kin­der­garten since its started in 2014. “The Lovu Hart com­mu­nity hall is oc­cu­pied by the com­mu­nity mem­bers them­selves, which we use as a kin­der­garten,” she said.

“It is a daily rou­tine where we have to come and set up in the morn­ing for classes and when we end the day we have to put all the fur­ni­ture back and clean the hall. All we have to do is be pa­tient.”

She said, let­ters have been writ­ten to Aus­tralian Aid re­quest­ing their as­sis­tance as well. How­ever, there has been no re­sponse so far. How­ever, a spokesper­son from the Aus­tralian High Com­mis­sion said: “The Aus­tralian High Com­mis­sion has been un­able to lo­cate any records of the Lovu Hart Kin­der­garten hav­ing pre­vi­ously ap­proached the Aus­tralian govern­ment for
