LOVU HART KINDERGARTEN SEEKS ASSISTANCE
Lovu Hart Kindergarten head teacher, Merewalesi Lewe, is calling on Government to help build them a proper Kindergarten for the students. When contacted yesterday, the Minister for Education, Mahendra Reddy, said the kindergarten needed to write to him and then he would decide on what to do. Ms Lewe, who has been a head teacher at the kindergarten for almost a year now said the students have been without a proper kindergarten since its started in 2014. “The Lovu Hart community hall is occupied by the community members themselves, which we use as a kindergarten,” she said.
“It is a daily routine where we have to come and set up in the morning for classes and when we end the day we have to put all the furniture back and clean the hall. All we have to do is be patient.”
She said, letters have been written to Australian Aid requesting their assistance as well. However, there has been no response so far.
