“For us, as organisers and as fans, this is a dream come true. We are sure to learn a lot from this game. Also, people of Qatar, parents, kids, everyone can come and enjoy an exciting game of rugby. The Fijians will not only play a game but will also spend time with the fans. “Fiji is an important partner in rugby development to us. We have five Fijian players currently playing with our teams and our national team is coached by a Fijian Usaia Biumaiwai. “The presence the Fiji team here is another sign of the strong relationship between the two countries which we hope to develop even further, “he told Qatar Tribune Team captain Osea Kolinisau, who was recently in Doha to receive the Association National Olympic Committee (ANOC) best male team at the Rio Olympics said; “Doha has an impressive credentials as a sports nation and hopefully this will be a start of a long lasting relationship with Qatar Rugby Federation.
