West­pac’s Giv­ing Tree to spread joy

Pro­vid­ing Christmas presents for dis­ad­van­taged chil­dren and se­nior cit­i­zens is some­thing West­pac has been fo­cus­ing on since 2011. Since, 2011, they have been spread­ing joy in the fes­tive sea­son by in­tro­duc­ing ‘West­pac’s Giv­ing Tree. From this week, all 20 branches of West­pac will have their Christmas Trees up, tagged with pre­ferred gifts for those in need within the re­spec­tive com­mu­ni­ties. Cus­tomers will then be en­cour­aged to pick a tag, pur­chase a present and place it un­wrapped with the tag un­der the tree by 12th of De­cem­ber. West­pac Fiji, gen­eral man­ager Brett Hooker said the West­pac Giv­ing Trees al­lows West­pac staff and cus­tomers the op­por­tu­nity to make a dif­fer­ence. “To those in need by mak­ing them feel loved and cared for at Christmas,” he said. Mr Hooker also en­cour­aged staff and cus­tomers of West­pac to take part in this wor­thy cause.

West­pac’s Giv­ing Trees has been placed across all their branches.

Those in­ter­ested in con­tribut­ing to­wards this wor­thy cause can do­nate gifts be­fore De­cem­ber 12th.
