Cricket Fiji received a timely boost before hosting the ICC East Asia Pacific Sub Regional World T20 Qualifier in Suva next month.

This was after they received two Toyota Hiace vans from Asco Motors yesterday.

Cricket Fiji manager Sevunivola Baba thanked Asco Motors for the assistance.

“These vans will really help the players especially during training and we are grateful to Asco for that.”

Asco Motors chief executive officer Craig Sims said they are happy to help.

“It will help Cricket Fiji during the competition,” Sims said. Cricket Fiji board member Liga Gukisuva said the response from the sponsors has been positive. “We have just completed our national club championship and the partnership will go a long way to developing the sport in Fiji,” Gukisuva said.

The tournament will be held at Albert Park in Suva on August 2530.
