Vladimir Putin’s spokesman in hospital with coronavirus
Moscow: Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov has been hospitalised after contracting COVID-19, Russian media reported Tuesday.
“Yes, I got sick. I am receiving medical help,” Mr Peskov told the
TASS news agency when asked whether he had been infected with the novel coronavirus disease.
Russian Prime Minister
Mikhail Mishustin, Culture Minister Olga Lyubimova and Construction Minister Vladimir Yakushev are also among the Russian officials infected with COVID-19.
Russia has reported 232,243 confirmed COVID-19 cases as of Tuesday.
