Sign language at Mass

Thank you Sacred Heart Cathedral, Suva, for the live broadcast of Mass, yesterday morning.

My spouse, five-year-old grandson and I watched in awesome wonder and heartfilled with enormously-flooding emotion, the newer heights Mass took with the acknowledged-introduction of sign language. Vinaka vakalevu Saka, celebrant Father Josefa Tuimavule for your sign language skills and those of your attendees.

You brought tears of joy to my eyes as I witnessed God’s greatness in His unfailing love for all mankind via live television broadcast.

You gave that morning’s Mass a new wholesome meaning.

I was overcome with much emotion brought about by “Laudate Si” - greater awareness of all around us all, as our earthly home battles with the painfully silent wrath of the coronavirus COVID 19 pandemic. Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ Holy Name, we beg for an early end to all this human suffering, pain, sadness and death.
