Road accident victim, 17, in critical condition at CWM

The 17yearold passenger, who was involved in a fatal accident last Saturday, is still in a critical condition.

Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro confirmed that the passenger was still admitted at the Colonial War Memorial Hospital in Suva.

The accident occurred along the Nadali bypass road in Bau, Tailevu.

The 25yearold driver of the vehicle allegedly lost control of the car he was driving causing it to veer off the road and hit a culvert.

An earlier Police report stated that the third passenger in the vehicle, a 27yearold man, escaped unharmed.

Police are investigating the matter and monitoring the condition of the 17yearold passenger.
