ffloading of containers was the activity of the day at the Lautoka Port on Monday following the arrival of the container vessel

Fiji Ports Corporatio­n Limited (FPCL) Marketing and Communicat­ion Officer Ashika Chand said the vessel was one of the vessels that has been regularly delivering containers at the Sugar City port.

The vessel’s local agent Williams & Goslings said it would give a release later today detailing the types of goods and items Kota Hakim brings to Fijians ports. Sailing under the Singapore flag, Kota Hakim was at the Suva port on Sunday and departed in the evening for Lautoka.

The vessel was built in the early 2000’s and has a capacity of 1080 TEU with an overall length of length 159.53 meters and 25 meters in width
