GOVT MP IN CUSTODY FOR ALLEGEDLY ASSAULTING WIFE

A Government Member of Parliament has been taken into custody for allegedly assaulting his wife over the weekend. Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro confirmed that the Government MP was taken into custody for an alleged case of a domestic violence.

She said the Government MP was alleged to have assaulted his 35-year-old wife on Sunday, adding that she sustained injuries.
