Public gatherings, church services allowed in A. Samoa
Pago Pago: Public gatherings and church services are now permitted in American Samoa after Governor Lolo Matalasi Moliga announced an easing of the restrictions imposed because of COVID-19.
The fifth Amended Emergency Declaration was effective from yesterday and allowed public gatherings which were limited to 150 people and with social distancing in place. Businesses could now operate from 5am to 9 pm but must allow just 50 per cent of their capacity within the premises. All schools will remain close for the next 30 days.
