Appearing before Suva Magistrate Liyanage Wickramasekara yesterday, Vakarisi is charged with:

■ Three counts of assault causing actual bodily harm,

■O■e count of intent to cause grievous harm,

■O■e count of breach of bail conditions and one count of breach of suspended sentence.

It is alleged that Vakarisi committed the alleged offences between May 29 to June 5 in Nabua.

The complainant in the matter is his 28-year-old wife.
