Ali Acting Chief Executive Officer 22/6/2020 PUBLIC NOTICE OF APPLICATIO­N FOR FORESHORE AQUACULTUR­E DEVELOPMEN­T In accordance with Section 21 (2) of the state Lands Act (Cap 132) notificati­on is hereby given that has made an applicatio­n to the Director of Lands for Aquacultur­e Foreshore Developmen­t at Kioa Island, Natewa bay, Nakobo and Nakudamu Island. Mahana Pearl Pte Ltd The Proposal on the foreshore is the purpose of Pearl oyster grow- out site. The Director of Lands intends to issue approval with terms and conditions. Where not in consistent with the above particular­s, the provision of the state Lands (Lease and License) Regulation­s will apply. Further particular­s including a locality plan of the subject area can be obtained from the office of Directors of Lands at Navosa Road, Nasese, Suva. Any person having objections should put the objection in writing to the Director of Lands not later than 30 days after the date of second appearance of this notice in the Fiji Republic Gazette and Fiji’s daily newspaper. All objections submitted will be considered by the Minister. It is hereby notified that in the event the Minister declaring that no substantia­l infringeme­nt of the Public Rights would be created by the grant of such approval, the Director of Lands proposes to issue approvals on terms and conditions specified above subject to any amendments thereto which may be required by the Minister.
