- SHREEYA VERMA Edited by Ivamere Nataro

Procera Music Fiji launched its first Fijian Reggaeton volume one album yesterday before distributing CDs to all its outlet. Managing director Mohammed Akif said Procera always encouraged talented artistes to do something good despite the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

“This is the first time we are trying to release a Fijian album where 11 DJs, from different music industries have worked together,” he said.

He said the CDs would be sold for $15 and could also be downloaded for free.

Fiji Arts Council director Peni Cavuilagi said most of the artistes were unemployed and their music was their source of income.

“We will be having an art market on July 11 where we will invite you to bring your CDs to be sold to the public.”
