Nadi Football Association is securing the services of Lautoka’s Navneel Nand and Suva’s Epeli Lairoti. Vice-president and team director Mun Sami Chetty confirmed interest on the two players yesterday as the Fiji Football Association transfer winidow closes today.

“Nadi has sought the release of the players to play for Nalovo FC this season,” he said.

Chetty confirmed midfielder William Valentine is back training after serving his suspension and the association had paid his fine to the Fiji FA.

Nadi played two friendlies over the weekend against Suva at the Korovuto Secondary School ground where the jetsetters edged the men from the capital 3-2 on both occasions.

Today, at 6.30pm Nadi will host Lautoka in a friendly at Prince Charles Park, Nadi.

“With no sponsors, officials are paying for expenses so we urged fans to come and support the team.”

Chetty thanked Lautoka FA president Shailendra Prasad for agreeing to play the friendly match.
