Tailevu Rugby has named their 40-member squad to prepare for the Skipper Cup Premiershi­p opener against Namosi at Thompson Park, Navua on July

25.

The squad will be trimmed to 30 players on July 17 for the Namosi game. The full squad will assemble on July 27 and the final 30-member squad for the Lautoka game will be announced on July

29.

The Fiji Football Associatio­n has thrown their support on Government’s drive for the 2020 Tree Planting programme which is in-line with the Ministry of Forestry’s aim to plant 30 million trees in 15years.

“We will be planting about 100 trees here, about 50 trees at our headquarte­rs in Suva and 150 trees at our $5.5 million academy in Labasa which is currently under constructi­on.”

The trees planted include sandalwood and fruit trees like mango and soursop.

Ministry of Forestry’s director west Rafaele Roboiliku thanked Fiji FA for taking into considerat­ion the thoughts of the nation in making Fiji greener.
