Kumar wins Ba golf

Sailesh Kumar shot 37 points to claim top spot during the Heera Apartment-sponsored stableford event at the Ba Golf Club on Sunday.

Also in top form were Christopher Daniel and Jyoti Lal who settled for second and third respectively in the stableford (Open) event.

Azhar Khan (35pts) was fourth spot while Brendan Daniel (34), and Asish Chand (34) are also in the top six.

Other award winners include Mohammed Sharif (NTP), Shakti Singh (longest drive) and the junior prize.

Ba Golf Club vice-captain Rohit Chandra said the event marked the club’s first event after the COVID 19 restrictions were eased.

“It was good to see a good turnout at the club’s post COVID -19 event,” he said.

The club acknowledged sponsor Heera Apartment director Pradeep Chandra for the sponsorship.

Other golfers include Ravinesh Chaudhary, Manish Patel, Ramen Chaudhary, Rohit Chandra and Rajen Singh.
