Day in par­adise at Shangri-La’s Fi­jian Re­sort

Lo­cals can now en­joy the world renowned fa­cil­i­ties at one of Fiji’s most pres­ti­gious re­sorts with­out stay­ing overnight.

The Shangri-La’s Fi­jian Re­sort and Spa will this week­end launched Spe­cial Day in Par­adise Pack­age. Di­rec­tor sales and mar­ket­ing Mar­sha Eyre said the new pack­age was done in con­junc­tion with the Love Our Lo­cals Cam­paign mooted by Tourism Fiji. “This pack­age will al­low our guests to ex­pe­ri­ence the re­sort fa­cil­i­ties for the day with­out hav­ing to stay.” Ms Eyre said.

“It al­lows guest to pay a min­i­mal fee that in­cludes lunch and us­age of the beach, pool, the fa­mous in­flat­able water park and non-mo­torised water sports such as kayak­ing and pad­dle board­ing.

Pack­age deal

“The re­sort is also of­fer­ing great rates on beach mas­sages, 9-hole golf and The at­trac­tive part of the pack­age is that chil­dren will also have free ac­cess to mini putt putt and the re­sort’s Marine Ed­u­ca­tion Cen­tre and their lunch.

“This is a first for the re­sort that has never been done be­fore and a great chance for our lo­cal com­mu­nity to ex­pe­ri­ence the re­sort and its fa­cil­i­ties. “The in­flat­able water park is the draw card and will be pop­u­lar for chil­dren and adults alike,” she said.

Beach, Beats and Eats

Last week­end the re­sort suc­cess­fully hosted the Beach, Beats and Eats pack­age which at­tracted a large num­ber of lo­cals and which has prompted the man­age­ment to make it a monthly af­fair.

Spe­cial Day Pack­age in­cludes non-mo­torised water sports such as kayak­ing and pad­dle board­ing.
