RAKIRAKI S Background ailosi Sawana has been appointed the new chief executive officer for both the Rakiraki and Tavua Councils. A man of few words said he was still tying up loose ends before his move to Rakiraki where he hopes to live with his family. Mr Sawana is from Cautata Village with maternal links to Naselai Village, both in the Tailevu Province. The father of five children expects to start in his new position early August. “We are looking forward to moving to Rakiraki away from Mr Sawana holds a Masters in Business Administra­tion, from the University of the South Pacific. He is a qualified Public Accountant with more than 25 years of progressiv­e accounting, corporate and audit experience augmented by a strong post- secondary background in accounting, auditing and business administra­tion.
