BETTER NETWORK FOR NGOS, EMBASSIES AFTER MEETING

Local and international non-governmental organisations and a number of embassies are now better equipped to communicate and share ideas after a meeting at the French Embassy on Wednesday.

Organised by the host and renowned personality, Ajay Bhai Amrit, the aim of the meeting at the French Embassy Residence in Suva, was to enable the organisations to help one another going forward. French Ambassador to Fiji Jean-François Fitou, said: “We know that various organisations are doing their best to support those in need and it’s also time for grassroots level and I include myself to help each other.”

The meeting, he said was the first step of an informal platform where you could exchange ideas, information and maybe you could ask each other’s help and have few ideas.
