Macuata Provincial Council website launched
The Tui Macuata Ratu Wiliame Katonivere launched the Macuata Provincial Council’s official website in Labasa yesterday.
During the launch at the Macuata Provincial Council office, he said: “There will be some good and negative challenges that the team will have to look into it.
“I hope you will share information with the world that will bring about development and change in the mindsets of those sons and daughters of Macuata abroad.
“Also, I hope that through this website vision, inspirations and plans can be shared.”
Macuata Provincial Council conservation officer Makelesi Raciri said an Australian volunteer, Scott Sheridan, spent one year with them all assisted in setting up the website.
“This included collecting information from the ground and conducting village profiling exercise,” Ms
Raciri said.
