Do not fear failure

The late former American Olympic sprint star Wilma Rudolph once said: “Winning is great, sure, but if you are really going to do something in life, the secret is learning how to lose. Nobody goes undefeated all the time. If you can pick up after a crushing defeat, and go on to win again, you are going to be a champion someday.”

In the context of business it best describes Rakiraki entrepreneur, Ravinesh Lal.

He quit teaching to start an IT shop. But the venture failed and he lost $35,000.

That did not dampen his spirit so now he has acquired a clothing shop.

He is determined to succeed one day. It means taking the risks and really put your mind to it.

It also means no fear. When you fail, have another go. Mr Lal has set an example. He has the right attitude to succeed eventually.
