A Guests impression of Beachcomber

Go Travel The Pacific - - Fiji - By Justin Taylor

Irecently returned to Beachcomber Island Resort after several years and I was amazed at the changes. It was obvious to me that a lot of work had been done since my last visit.

From the crystal clear water upon arrival and being welcomed with a big Bula!, I was happy to be back at my favourite island.

When I stepped off the boat onto the island I was greeted by some of the most amazing staff I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. The friendly island smile that they had on arrival remained there throughout my stay and is a great memory of such lovely people and island hospitality.

I loved my room in the new building that has been built since my last stay, it was so fresh and clean. It had the most amazing view out over the water and even the luxury of airconditioning.

I was happy to see that they still had the buffet meals as not only do you get to pick and choose depending upon your own tastes, you can eat as much as you want. Meal times are great for meeting new people in a relaxed setting.

The island also met its expectations as the party island and all of the staff that make your stay so pleasant I can’t wait until my next trip. I could not recommend this island enough to travellers passing through the Fiji Islands and to get the full experience I highly recommend that you stay at least a week to enjoy everything because as well as all the activities such as great snorkelling and turtle feeding in the afternoon, the island really comes to life at night and the floorless young fire dancers really get the night off to a great start. The night is then followed by hours of drinking, dancing and meeting other travellers who are there to have a great time.

I cannot stress it enough, get yourself to Beachcomber Island for the time of your life! I can easily say that they were the greatest 6 nights of my trip.
