FASANOC XV FIJI GAMES

The XV Fiji Games will be held in Suva from Septem­ber 7 – Septem­ber 10 with 16 sports on the pro­gramme. Sev­eral na­tional fed­er­a­tions are us­ing the Fiji Games as tri­als for the Pa­cific Mini Games and for the 2018 Com­mon­wealth Games Squads.

COM­ING UP IN NOVEM­BER OCEA­NIA RUGBY SEVENS CHAM­PI­ONSHIP

The Ocea­nia re­gion boasts to con­tain the cream of the crop in re­gards to top per­form­ers in Rugby Sevens and as such the an­nual Ocea­nia Rugby Sevens Cham­pi­onship is a hotly con­tested com­pe­ti­tion. The Ocea­nia Rugby Sevens Cham­pi­onships com­pli­ments the suc­cess of the highly pop­u­lar World Rugby HSBC World Se­ries and the Rugby World Sevens Cup. On Fri­day 10 and Satur­day 11 Novem­ber this year – 13 Men’s and 7 Women’s teams com­bine into one tour­na­ment at Fiji’s ANZ Sta­dium in Suva, com­pet­ing for the ti­tle of the an­nual Ocea­nia Sevens Cham­pi­ons in front of a Fi­jian Rugby lov­ing crowd.

Men’s Teams: American Samoa, Aus­tralia, Cook Is­lands, Fiji, Nauru, New Cale­do­nia, New Zealand, Pa­pua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Is­lands, Tonga, Tu­valu, and Van­u­atu.

Women’s Teams: Aus­tralia, Cook Is­lands, Fiji, New Zealand, Pa­pua New Guinea, Samoa and Tonga. The tour­na­ment is or­ga­nized by Ocea­nia Rugby and hosted by the Govern­ment of Fiji and the Fiji Rugby Union. For more in­for­ma­tion visit www.ocea­niarugby.com
