Filling: • Finely chop onion, garlic cloves, celery, capsicum and carrot. • Heat oil in a pot & add in the onion, let it sauté for about a minute then add the chopped garlic, celery, capsicum & carrot. Add Crest Chicken Supreme Mince to the rest of the ingredients. • Mixing through thoroughly, season with salt & pepper to taste. Add in the tin tomatoes and oyster sauce. • Add “Pick me up” sauce for colour & taste. Simmer for 5 - 8 mins. • To thicken, mix water and flour in a cup, pour into the pot and simmer until the mix has cooked through. Pour cottage pie filling into a baking dish and set aside. For the top: • Peel potatoes, sweet potatoes/ kumala and pumpkin, chop into chunks and boil them in a pot. • Drain the water when all the ingredients are cooked. • Add in butter, salt & pepper to taste and mash them all together. Once all smooth in texture, add in milk and mix through. • With a fork, spread mash over the cottage pie filling gently and sprinkle grated cheese on top. • Bake in oven at 180ºC for 20 mins or until mash browns. Garnish with coriander or spring onion.
