OCEA­NIA RUGBY 7S CHAM­PI­ONSHIPS

On Fri­day 10th Novem­ber and Satur­day 11th Novem­ber, a to­tal of 13 men’s and 7 women’s teams com­bine into one tour­na­ment at Fiji’s ANZ Sta­dium in Suva. The teams will be com­pet­ing for the ti­tle of the an­nual Ocea­nia 7s Cham­pi­onships in front of a Fi­jian Rugby lov­ing crowd.

DI­WALI, THE FES­TI­VAL OF LIGHTS

Oc­to­ber 19th Di­wali (Di­vali, Deep­avali) is a fes­ti­val of light and dark, good and evil, ig­no­rance and wis­dom. Di­wali in Fiji is a flash­ing af­fair, with lights adorn­ing homes and fire­works light­ing up the sky.

REG­U­LARS NA KORO MAR­KET

(First Satur­day of the month) Fam­ily, Fun, Food and Live Mu­sic. The Na Koro monthly mar­ket cre­ates a com­mu­nity at the Fiji Mu­seum, a street mar­ket scene sit­u­ated at Thurston Gar­dens, Suva with live mu­sic, ex­hi­bi­tions, kids games and much more. Email: nako­ro­mar­ket@gmail.com

ROC MAR­KET

(Third Sun­day of the month) Suva’s Repub­lic of Cap­puc­cino holds a monthly out­door mar­ket along­side Dol­phin Plaza. Up to 50 ven­dors sell lo­cally pro­duced food, arts and crafts. More than a mar­ket, it’s a meet­ing place. The mar­ket runs from 10am – 2pm.
