BSP ClassicSaver: Perfect for Retirement
Fiji’s leading financial services provider, BSP has dedicated October to improving the financial readiness of working people who are nearing their retirement age. BSP General Manager Retail Banking Mr Ravindra Singh has confirmed this in a media statement. “This month, all our 17 branches nationwide, are reaching out to community members in their locality who are about to retire and inviting them to open a ClassicSaver account which has benefits perfect for their retirement years,” he said. “At the end of a long working career, a person deserves to get financial services that allows them easy & convenient access to funds while letting them enjoy the things they love.” BSP’s focus on retiring individuals coincides with Senior Citizens Week launched last Saturday by the Government. “The Bank has always had Fiji at heart and this is demonstrated in the way we do business,” reiterated Mr Singh. The Bank is committed to giving back to Fiji including individuals who have committed their lives to providing for their families and ultimately national development. “The account enables them to gain 24-7 access to their retirement funds, banked with us, while enjoying 48 free electronic transactions per year, a waiver on service fees and competitive interest rates,” Mr Singh added. To open a BSP ClassicSaver account, a person must be 55 years of age or more. Simply present a valid photo ID, a TIN Letter or joint FRCA & FNPF ID Card and a document proving you are aged 55 or above which could be a birth certificate or voter ID.
