BSP Clas­sicSaver: Per­fect for Retirement

Fiji’s lead­ing fi­nan­cial ser­vices provider, BSP has ded­i­cated Oc­to­ber to im­prov­ing the fi­nan­cial readi­ness of work­ing peo­ple who are near­ing their retirement age. BSP Gen­eral Man­ager Re­tail Bank­ing Mr Ravindra Singh has con­firmed this in a me­dia state­ment. “This month, all our 17 branches na­tion­wide, are reach­ing out to com­mu­nity mem­bers in their lo­cal­ity who are about to re­tire and invit­ing them to open a Clas­sicSaver ac­count which has ben­e­fits per­fect for their retirement years,” he said. “At the end of a long work­ing ca­reer, a per­son de­serves to get fi­nan­cial ser­vices that al­lows them easy & con­ve­nient ac­cess to funds while let­ting them en­joy the things they love.” BSP’s fo­cus on re­tir­ing in­di­vid­u­als co­in­cides with Se­nior Ci­ti­zens Week launched last Satur­day by the Govern­ment. “The Bank has al­ways had Fiji at heart and this is demon­strated in the way we do busi­ness,” re­it­er­ated Mr Singh. The Bank is com­mit­ted to giv­ing back to Fiji in­clud­ing in­di­vid­u­als who have com­mit­ted their lives to pro­vid­ing for their fam­i­lies and ul­ti­mately na­tional de­vel­op­ment. “The ac­count en­ables them to gain 24-7 ac­cess to their retirement funds, banked with us, while en­joy­ing 48 free elec­tronic trans­ac­tions per year, a waiver on ser­vice fees and com­pet­i­tive in­ter­est rates,” Mr Singh added. To open a BSP Clas­sicSaver ac­count, a per­son must be 55 years of age or more. Sim­ply present a valid photo ID, a TIN Let­ter or joint FRCA & FNPF ID Card and a doc­u­ment prov­ing you are aged 55 or above which could be a birth cer­tifi­cate or voter ID.
