DINNER IN THE DARK
An experimental project at the intersection of images and language by Dominique Gonzalez-Foerster, Tristan Bera and Charles-Arsène Henry periodically brings together some 20 participants for amysterious nocturnal ceremony involving the reading of works by the Marquis de Sade, Huysmans, Pasolini, Burroughs and Alain and Catherine Robbe-Grillet. The last such event took place in spring 2014 in Istanbul, with the participation of Catherine Robbe-Grillet. Stéphanie Moisdon is an art critic and freelance curator. Her shows include Présumés innocents (Capc-Bordeaux, 2000), Manifesta 4 (Frankfurt, 2001), Before the End (Consortium, Dijon, 2004) and the ninth Biennale d'art contemporain de Lyon (2007, with Hans Ulrich Obrist). She teaches at the École Cantonale d’Art in Lausanne. Dominique Gonzalez-Foerster lives and works on Paris and Rio de Janeiro. Her work was recently shown at the 303 Gallery in New York (April 17–May 31, 2014), the Palacio de Cristal in Madrid, the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam and the Guggenheim Museum, New York.
