DIN­NER IN THE DARK

An ex­pe­ri­men­tal pro­ject at the in­ter­sec­tion of images and lan­guage by Do­mi­nique Gon­za­lez-Foers­ter, Tris­tan Be­ra and Charles-Ar­sène Hen­ry per­io­di­cal­ly brings to­ge­ther some 20 par­ti­ci­pants for amys­te­rious noc­tur­nal ce­re­mo­ny in­vol­ving the rea­ding of works by the Mar­quis de Sade, Huys­mans, Pa­so­li­ni, Bur­roughs and Alain and Catherine Robbe-Grillet. The last such event took place in spring 2014 in Is­tan­bul, with the par­ti­ci­pa­tion of Catherine Robbe-Grillet. Sté­pha­nie Mois­don is an art cri­tic and free­lance cu­ra­tor. Her shows in­clude Pré­su­més in­no­cents (Capc-Bor­deaux, 2000), Ma­ni­fes­ta 4 (Frank­furt, 2001), Be­fore the End (Consor­tium, Di­jon, 2004) and the ninth Bien­nale d'art contem­po­rain de Lyon (2007, with Hans Ul­rich Obrist). She teaches at the École Can­to­nale d’Art in Lausanne. Do­mi­nique Gon­za­lez-Foers­ter lives and works on Pa­ris and Rio de Ja­nei­ro. Her work was re­cent­ly shown at the 303 Gal­le­ry in New York (April 17–May 31, 2014), the Pa­la­cio de Cris­tal in Ma­drid, the Ste­de­lijk Mu­seum in Am­ster­dam and the Gug­gen­heim Mu­seum, New York. Ex­hi­bi­tions in 2015: Pom­pi­dou Cen­ter, Pa­ris; Mu­seum of Mo­dern Art, Rio de Ja­nei­ro. Catherine Franc­blin is an art cri­tic. Her­most recent book is Ni­ki de Saint Phalle.
