The permanent tour: a voyage of discovery to the heart of wine cultures
Embark on an immersive, sensory adventure to discover the cultures and civilisations of wine. In an open exhibition space occupying more than 3,000 m², nearly twenty different themed areas invite you to take a voyage and enjoy a unique experience exploring the many and varied facets of wine across time and space. A visit to the permanent tour also includes the travel companion, a free, innovative tool available in eight languages and the access to La Cité du Vin’s Belvedere, where you will discover a 360° view of Bordeaux whilst tasting a glass of world wine (50 ml). Average visit time: 2-3 hours – Fee 20€
A celebration of bistros and cafés
The «Bistrot! From Baudelaire to Picasso» exhibition is scheduled from 17 March to 21 June at La Cité du Vin. Combining traditional media with photography and cinema, the exhibition celebrates the living, fertile links between the world of art and «café society» through more than a hundred works, of Pablo Picasso, Charles Baudelaire, Robert Doisneau or Otto Dix. €8 (exhibition only) or €24 including La Cité du Vin permanent exhibition.

Extend the visit to the bordeaux vineyards
On the ground floor, “Bordeaux Wine routes” information center inform and guide visitors wishing to get information and book tours and circuits in the vineyards. Note: a 90 meters pontoon provides direct access to the Garonne, for a departure by boat, and outdoor spaces dedicated allow departures in buses and minibuses.
