Arclight show­ing footage of “Best Men” se­quel in Cannes

IN­TER­NA­TIONAL sales firm Arclight Films and pro­duc­ers Lau­rence Malkin, Ta­nia Cham­bers and Share Stallings are shar­ing first-look stills and footage of in Cannes. The se­quel to the global hit com­edy it is now in the fi­nal stages of post-pro­duc­tion, ready­ing for a 2016 world­wide re­lease. Both films are writ­ten by Dean Craig

David, Tom and Gra­ham must trans­port their mate’s cof­fin back to Lon­don af­ter a forced plane land­ing strands them in the mid­dle of the Aus­tralian bush. The film is di­rected by Mark Lam­prell and stars Xavier Sa­muel, Kris Marshall and Kevin Bishop who reprise their roles from the pre­quel. is fi­nanced by In­ge­nious, Screen Aus­tralia, Screen­west and Lot­tery­west, Arclight Films, New Oz and The Post Lounge. Daniel Find­lay is co-pro­duc­ing; ex­ec­u­tive pro­duc­ers are Dean Craig, Gary Hamil­ton, Mark Lazarus, James Ver­non, Josh Kes­sel­man and Steve Cooper. Stu­dio­canal is re­leas­ing across Aus­tralia and New Zealand. Arclight Films is han­dling in­ter­na­tional sales and has al­ready made sig­nif­i­cant pre­sales in­clud­ing Lucky Red for Italy, Modus Vivendi for Pan Eastern Europe, East­wood Hold­ings for Peru, Bo­livia, Ecuador and Columbia, Italia Films for Pan Mid­dle East and Galaxy for Viet­nam.
