EGLISE NOTRE DAME & MABLY COURTYARD

Charming Bordeaux - - THE DISTRICTS OF BORDEAUX QUINCONCES, GRANDS HOMME -

The Notre-dame church and Cour Mably Courtyard are the only remains of the Dominican Convent which stood in this neighbourhood in the 13th century. Pierre Michel Duplessy was the architect who planned its layout and the facade, inspired by the Church of the Gesù in Rome. Close to the church, the Cour Mably Courtyard and the Chapter House (Salle Capitulaire) are timeless places where concerts, openair screenings and exhibitions are held all year round. 1 place du Chapelet - B > Grand-théâtre
