EGLISE SAINT-PAUL

Charming Bordeaux - - THE DISTRICTS OF BORDEAUX SAINT-PIERRE, SAINT-PAUL -

In 1662 the Jesuits bought the old city hall to construct a professed house as well as a chapel for their convent. This chapel is today known as the Church of Saint-paul. The church is constructed in the form of a latin cross and is characteristic of baroque architecture in Bordeaux. Inside there is a magnificent 17th century altarpiece and a contemporary chandelier. 20 rue des Ayres - A > Sainte-catherine
