As early as the 4th century, converts settled on the site of a large Gallo-roman necropolis where they built their first chapel. In the 11th century, the canons undertook the construction of a large Romanesque building, of which the porch, the chevet, the crypt and the base of the bell tower still exist. Work continued on the building in the 19th century with the addition of several chapels and a neo-romanesque frontage. Place des Martyrs de la Résistance
