A grand cru of olive oil

Cuisine | a&d - - The Market -

This fine bottle of olive oil comes from the region of Cima Corgo in Portugal’s Douro Valley and can compete with some of the greatest Tuscany olive oils out there. Green robe with yellow highlights and a nose which exhibits the freshness of spring with flavors of sap, herbs, green apples and pepper. Low acidity (0.09%), soft and fine on the palate, the oil develops a nice touch of bitterness and leaves a spicy and slightly hot aftertaste. Ideal for drizzling over pasta, potatoes, beef carpaccio, fish or raw vegetables. 10.90€ for the 500 ml bottle.
