The very first edi­tion of the Gas­tron­omy Fair for Over­seas French Ter­ri­to­ries, launched by Ba­bette de Roz­ières to­gether with the great Stéphane Le Foll (and we’re talk­ing great not only in terms of size - 1.80 m), has been a great suc­cess! Dur­ing the fair, Mar­tinique was able to show­case the full tal­ent, cre­ativ­ity and flex­i­bil­ity of its chefs and ar­ti­sans, as well as the qual­ity of the lo­cal in­gre­di­ents. Four of Mar­tinique’s star chefs were there for the oc­ca­sion: Gaby Marti­non, Guy Fer­di­nand, David Colomba and Prisca Mor­jon... just in case you missed the event. Last minute news: Chef Mar­cel Ravin, a na­tive of Mar­tinique, has just won his first Miche­lin star! That calls for a cel­e­bra­tion.
