ELEPHANT MAN

The Elephant Man is a modern reworking of the legendary, award-winning play by Bernard Pomerance. It tells the true story of Joseph Merrick, his meeting with surgeon Frederick Treves and encounter with actress Madge Kendal. JoeyStarr plays the role of Merrick, following in the footsteps of David Bowie (1980) and Bradley Cooper (2014). He is joined on stage by Béatrice Dalle and Christophe Grégoire. This agonising but timeless story of human kindness is a lesson in tolerance and has all the ingredients to make it the theatrical event of the autumn. From October 3rd through to 20th. Ce conte moderne, inspiré de la pièce mythique et multi récompensée de Bernard Pomerance, évoque l’histoire vraie de Joseph Merrick, sa rencontre avec le chirurgien Frederick Treves et l’actrice Madame Kendal. Succédant à David Bowie (1980) ou Bradley Cooper (2014), JoeyStarr incarne un Elephant Man, vibrant de vérité et d’humanité. Béatrice Dalle et Christophe Grégoire complètent le trio.
