Man­ne­quin Chal­lenge for Eu­rope (25.03.17)

“To­day, our chil­dren do not have to wor­ry about war any­more and this, we owe it to Eu­rope and its free mo­ve­ment”. Not on­ly did Sa­tur­day March 25th wit­ness a beau­ti­ful blue sky and a bright sun, but al­so 300 Eu­ro­pean ci­ti­zens hol­ding their blue and gol­den lags high up in the air, sym­bol of the ideals of uni­ty, so­li­da­ri­ty and har­mo­ny among­st the people of Eu­rope.

The place du Pa­lais Royal re­so­na­ted un­der the echoes of the “Ode to Joy” by Bee­tho­ven as well as va­rious tes­ti­mo­nies by Eu­ro­pean ci­ti­zens, sha­ring the va­lues close to their heart and sho­wed their be­lon­ging to a com­mon iden­ti­ty. The mor­ning en­ded in a giant man­ne­quin chal­lenge or­ga­ni­sed by Pulse of Eu­rope, Eu­ro­ci­toyens and the ME­F, Eu­ro­pean ci­ti­zens em­bra­cing their di­ver­si­ties.
