Mannequin Challenge for Europe (25.03.17)
“Today, our children do not have to worry about war anymore and this, we owe it to Europe and its free movement”. Not only did Saturday March 25th witness a beautiful blue sky and a bright sun, but also 300 European citizens holding their blue and golden lags high up in the air, symbol of the ideals of unity, solidarity and harmony amongst the people of Europe.
The place du Palais Royal resonated under the echoes of the “Ode to Joy” by Beethoven as well as various testimonies by European citizens, sharing the values close to their heart and showed their belonging to a common identity. The morning ended in a giant mannequin challenge organised by Pulse of Europe, Eurocitoyens and the MEF, European citizens embracing their diversities.
