LE SACHA

L'officiel Shopping - - Hotels -

Before there were theatres, now there are boutique hotels. Between Place Saint-Georges and Place Pigalle, an area which some are already referring to as SoPi (standing for South Pigalle, just like SoHo in Manhattan...), what is on offer is growing at high speed. The curtain has just been lifted on the district’s latest achievement: Le Sacha (as in Guitry, yes!). As soon as you go inside, you find yourself plunged into an atmosphere of theatres and that Parisian lifestyle so perfectly portrayed in Sacha Guitry’s work. The lobby has an atmosphere of Paris between the wars, its corridors are decorated with a good collection of theatre posters and etchings, colorful wall-hangings and velvet curtains in the rooms... The interior decorator, Julie Gautheron, has multiplied references to Parisian theatre life. The elegant glass doors which open onto the garden shimmer with an attractive energy at the end of the day, when the hotel management offers a champagne tasting to its guests. Everything that Paris has to offer! —
