EQUESTRIAN DIAGONAL

For the past two seasons, Olivier Rousteing had been introducing more classical inspirations in his collections. This time, he channelled Carole Bouquet, the chic French icon of the 90’s, goddess of his youth, and today’s muse. Through her, he revisits the codes of the French bourgeoisie: full quilted cape, Harlequin dress in Burlington jacquard, loose denim on a luxuriously embroidered mohair sweater, denim skirt with a Sun King sweater, khaki overalls with an attached microcape to keep shoulders warm… The horse-riding inspired landscape is complete. Olivier Rousteing’s direction is defiantly self-assured.
