THE ART OF PARTYING

In an Art Deco setting, Miuccia Prada celebrates a sweetly decadent kind of elegance. As if having just stepped out of a big party, these women are dressed in long coats, from which peek out black skirts, either sheer, embellished with lace, or embroidered with dancing crystals. These crystals, as it turns out, are disseminated everywhere, like a recurring motif: on collars, on sleeve ornaments, all over a pristine white dress, in a bib on a bubble-gum pink number or around the neckline of a checkered dress. All manners of festive touches that electrify the strictness of a military overcoat, a Peter Pan collar or an emerald-colored plaid.
