You all know that she left me several years ago… and that I never got over it. I’m talking about my passion for DIY… Life hasn’t been the same since. Now I spend a lot of time on the website of For Me Lab, the select store selling customized objects made by skilled craftspeople! It was founded by Jordane and Géraldine, two former marketing whizzes who tired of backward scheduling. Their idea was to bring people’s creative ideas and desires to life. What does that mean exactly? On the website, you can pick a table (in walnut, oak planks or distressed wood), a graphic origami wall decoration, a desk, a cabin-type bed or neon light, then customize it according to your tastes by speaking directly to the craftsperson or artist! I must have already contacted about half of the 65 designers… Sophie Masson’s ceramics decorated with little texts made perfect gifts. And the cabinet for storing LPs from the Atelier Monsieur Madame was ideal… for me! The next time I call them, I think that Émile will ask for the Île d’Yeu-style tent to play with in the living room. formelab.com
