Milk Magazine (English) - - CONTENTS -

WHAT DOES IT OFFER? Quality language study holidays abroad.

OBJECTIVES? Total immersion in the chosen language, plus any number of activities: sports, handicrafts, water sports, etc.

ADVANTAGES? Coming into contact with other youngsters, your children practise the skills acquired in class from the teaching team. WHERE? Canada, Ireland, the USA, Scotland, Switzerland, Germany...

FOR WHOM? Kids aged 7-17 have access to summer camps, collective language study programmes, American campuses and private English schools. They may also stay with a local host family. WHAT IS IT? A holiday camp for 5-12s.

OBJECTIVES? Children learn about nature and animals on a farm or in a biodiverse environment.

ADVANTAGES? It’s a great way of disconnecting from urban life for a week or two.

WHERE? An 18th-century Norman manor set in 30 hectares of grounds, and three houses adapted to different age groups: the Grange (Barn), Etable (Stable) and La Mazurie.

WHO GOES THERE? French children, naturally, but also English and Spanish children, which makes conversations and activities more interesting. WHAT DOES IT OFFER? Language study holidays in the Alps, in an English-speaking family.

OBJECTIVES? This language immersion programme is less frightening than one abroad and enables children to go away for shorter periods or more often.

ADVANTAGES? Your children gain confidence speaking English, improving their pronunciation and enriching their vocabulary. They share the language and lifestyle of an English-speaking family in a natural setting in the mountains.

WHERE? Numerous Alpine destinations accessible from Lyon and Geneva offer a mix of sport, nature and culture.

FOR WHOM? Secondary school pupils (as well as students and adults).
