How do you cope with your coexisting professional and private lives? — A: Quite well, even if it has taken some time to adapt! Having one’s own business means being free to plan the hours you work, but there’s also a risk that your working day never ends. You have to be strong and brave enough to set limits for yourself. We have one very simple rule: when we come home in the evening, there are no more emails and no more work until we go back to the office the next day. How do you do it all without losing your cool? — Like many things in life, it’s a question of balance: you must know how to gauge the importance of things, to have a sense of priorities and to make compromises. Onur and I love travelling, spending a maximum of time with the family, eating and practising sport, but we also feel passionate about our work. We try to balance all that out each day and create a sense of stability and harmony. Any advice? — One must also learn to listen to oneself, not to forget that we only have one life and that it must above all be fun and exciting! One shouldn’t allow oneself to become trapped in a routine where everything seems complicated. One has to know how to break the routine, take the plunge and go off in search of adventure!
