For books & cooks

Designed by the Italian brand, Nidi, this bookcase is just the thing for teenagers’ bedrooms. Books, files, knick-knacks and all the piles of other stuff they don’t know where to put can be tidied neatly away on it. What’s more, its lightweight structure may even inspire them to organise the space they hang out in from time to time. It can either stand against a wall or be used as a partition if the room is shared by a sibling. Six different models are currently available: tall, small, square or rounded edges… A full-length mirror can be fixed to the tall version. Respecting Nidi’s brand philosophy, it’s environmentally-friendly, sustainable, and completely adaptable. Clever.

A new model from the Japanese wooden toy brand, gg*, this minimalist kitchenette has a lot going for it. Face-to-face play will encourage interaction between children: copying mum and dad when they’re cooking or serving across the counter as in a café or restaurant.
